Ranch Information

Located in a beautiful mountain valley three miles from the East Entrance to Yellowstone National Park, Shoshone Lodge and Guest Ranch has been serving guests for almost 100 years. With abundant wildlife, breathtaking vistas, and access to hundreds of miles of horseback riding and hiking trails in the Shoshone National Forest, Shoshone Lodge and Guest Ranch is the ideal place to reconnect with those closest to you, enjoy new friendships and experience a truly relaxing western vacation. Our weekly activities include horseback riding, guided tours of Yellowstone National Park, a float trip, and the Cody Nite Rodeo.

We offer all-inclusive stays to 25-35 guests and have 15 uniquely individual log cabins with modern amenities to accommodate our guests. Our cabins vary in size, sleeping anywhere from two to ten people, and all have private bathrooms, a small fridge, microwave, TV, wi-fi, and front porches with rocking chairs to enjoy the beautiful mountain views. Cabins are refreshed daily by our staff to provide fresh towels and linens as needed.

Dining: Meals will vary between family-style, campfire cookouts and plated fine dining, but we always guarantee hearty western home cooking. Mornings will welcome you with a delicious daily breakfast bar. Lunches at the ranch are a healthy variety of sandwiches and tasty sides, and picnic lunches are provided for the days away from the ranch. Dinners are a chance to relax and recap the day with your new friends at the ranch. Enjoy a drink at the bar and some tasty appetizers, before diving into some good old-fashioned home cooking, with plenty of options for everyone and of course, made-from-scratch desserts. We are happy to accommodate special dietary needs as well.

Guests are invited to take part in as many daily activities as they choose, including two-hour or all-day horseback rides, breakfast and dinner rides (ATV access provided for non- riding guests), a guided trip into Yellowstone National Park, a float trip on the North Fork of the Shoshone River, dinner and a show at the Cody Cattle Company as well as the Cody Night Rodeo and a night of western swing dancing here at the Lodge. Alternative activities include hiking, wildlife photography, fishing (not guided) and opportunities to visit the Buffalo Bill
Center of the West museum in Cody.
